Episode 10- Wire Work Day
Second hald of the Wire Day. We were helped out by Bernie and Mick who did wire stuff for the Matrix- imagine the difference in body shapes between Keanu Reeves and Steve Foxx.
Episode 9- On the Radio
Steve Foxx and Womp (Craig and Tony) drop in on their broadcasting buddy Robbie "I'm so young" Buck. See what its like to be a minor-minor celebrity and go into the Tipple J studios. WOW!
Episode 8- Blue Screen Day 1
So much fun as the team has an easy day at the ABC Studios Ultimo. Tony gets a massage on the white set of episode three. Rod does some sexy dancing for the end credits of episode 2. Craig has a crash course in Sound Recording so that Chrissy G can step in and act and Bryan can't get his lines right when flying over the pacific.
Episode 7- Panda Love
Legendary Australian performer and comedian- David Collins talks about his role in Series 2. He plays a mime who has a passionate love affair with Panda. David is one half of the Umbillical Brothers and appears in eps 1,2,3,4,8. Umbi fans will also want to watch ep6 for an appearance by Shane as the twin gaurds of destiny.
Episode 6- The Temple
Tony Walters cops a lot of flack as director. Losing time, directing complex fight scenes and special effect sequences- all become too much for Tony- and don't get him started on his lunch order.
Episode 5- The Warehouse
A multi-episode scene caused by a time paradox in the scripts. Rod Foxx faces himself in many incantations. Also, check out the new character TARA- played by Hollie Andrew. Airplanes, leaps of faith and Bryan's BIG scene with legendary actor BRUCE SPENCE!
Episode 4- The Chasm
Shooting two months before heading to the actual snow. We mocked up the Interior of the Snow Chasm where Steve and Womp face internal conflict and deepest desires. Tony Walters directs and tries to wrap his head around one wall still- the other wall moving.
Episode 3- On the Beach
The First week of produciton and Doug Bayne directs exciting battle sequences on the beach. Everyone strips down to their underwear and Craig plays in the sand like an idiot.
Episode 2- Crash & Bash Derby
The team head to Parramatta City Raceway to film an integral sequence from the first episode. Dunnies and Caravans are smashed to peices, Tony is late for a party and we capture the origin story of everyone's favorite character The Womp.
Episode 1- Cake Day
Celebrating the first week of pre-production. Fat men, meetings, locations, auditions, prop making and casting- Bruce Spence, Cate Blanchett, David Collins and PacMan- only one of these stars won't be in series 2- can you guess which one?
